The night before launch was
fabulously clear.
|

| After several launches I finally
got the locations and timing right. I caught the billowy smoke just after
ignition.

I was curious how close to the
ground the launch would be visible from 14 miles away. Pretty close as it
turns out. |

They start the roll maneuver
right away after lift off.
